Housing provides the basic need of sheltering us from the elements. However, there is nothing basic about the region's housing market. We offer detailed data and analysis to help you better understand the region's housing characteristics:
- Housing Activity. We chart monthly building permit activity by type of housing for municipalities in the region. We are also working with utility companies and housing market researchers to develop current information regarding the location, pricing and types of housing being developed throughout the region.
- Housing Price. We currently offer Census 2000 data for owner-occupied and rental prices throughout the region.
- Structural Characteristics. Here you can find information regarding single family and multifamily unit construction, housing age and housing size.
DRCOG performs annual housing unit estimates. Currently we estimate units into counties, cities and census tracts.
