The Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) is the designated Transportation Planning Region (TPR) and Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for the Denver region. It is DRCOG's responsibility as an MPO to plan, program, and coordinate federal transportation funds. Click here to learn more about DRCOG's roles and responsibilities.

DRCOG works with the Colorado Department of Transportation , the Regional Transportation District and others to prepare transportation plans and programs. Click on the links below to learn more about transportation planning in the Denver region.

In addition, DRCOG provides services such as traffic signal coordination , travel forecasting , carpool and vanpool matching, teleworking assistance, and alternative transportation promotion.
