Regional Transportation Plan |

I am writing to urge DRCOG to vote no on
the Jefferson Parkway proposal
amendment to the FC-2035-RTP. It would
seem that regional transportation needs
would be better met by first improving the
existing Colorado 93. Building a multi-lane
road (toll or free) to feed traffic onto 93 in
its current configuration will make current
congestion worse instead of better. Given
the struggles of the Northwest Parkway
segment of the 470 loop to do well, it
doesn't seem like a good idea to build
another toll segment. This project just
doesn't fit in its current form. Thanks for
allowing us to comment on these issues. |
