Earn money to not drive with Way To Go’s VanCool program

Denver, CO: You know what’s better than driving to and from work? Almost everything! But Way to Go is here to make it a whole lot better. This summer, the program is offering a benefits-packed ride sharing program, with a “cool” twist. Way to Go is launching a new campaign to highlight the benefits of Vanpool and how signing up for the program can help employers and commuters save money. Here’s why you should ignore your parents’ advice and hop into that van that stops in front of your house.
- Commuters save money on gas, tolls and parking all while beating traffic with access to HOV and Express lanes.
- Commuters traveling through the Regional Transportation District’s service area can boost their savings through available subsidies. Way to Go will help riders and employers navigate incentives and other cost-saving opportunities.
- New: this program has been optimized to benefit commuters on hybrid work schedules thanks to Way to Go’s partnership with Commute with Enterprise.
- You get a (metaphorical) gold star for helping to contribute to cleaner air, reduced traffic congestion and less packed parking lots. Good for you, and thanks!
Plus, employers who help promote or subsidize vanpools in the workplace can earn up to $125,000 in tax credits, enhance their benefits packages and have happier, more productive employees.
“Between traffic, construction, and the perpetual annoyance of dealing with parking, why not try something different?” asks Nisha Mokshagundam, Way to Go Manager. “We’re all looking for ways to better our days, better our city and improve our mental health. Vanpool accomplishes all three goals, and you save money in the process. Be one of the cool ones and give it a shot. Hop into one of our vans!”
